Team Member Spotlight - Natasha Matta

We would like to introduce you to Natasha, our Marketing Intern. Natasha has been working with us since October. She currently is helping us build up our Pink Crown Collective Business Directory, building it's new Instagram account and assisting with our website design.

1. Tell us a little about yourself

Hello! My name is Natasha, and I’m a high school junior from the San Francisco Bay Area. I’m interested in marketing, business and entrepreneurship, biomedical engineering, neuroscience and psychology, criminology, and AI, so I guess a little bit of everything. I love photography

and traveling, and some of my favorite places I’ve been are Greece, United Arab Emirates, and Spain!

2. Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.

I’m Japanese, Russian and Egyptian!

3. Tell us three things most people don’t know about you

I used to fence foil, I hurdle and run track and field, and I love collecting houseplants :)

4. Three words to best describe you:

Persistent, caring and creative

5. Before working with Pink Crown Creative, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?

This summer, I interned in cognitive neuroscience and psychopathology and wrote a 23-page paper exploring a novel network approach to adolescent borderline personality disorder and its connections to ODD and ADHD in childhood. No research has been done into my specific topic before, so it was fascinating to explore!

6. Motto, favourite quote or personal mantra?

One of my favorite quotes is “You need perseverance to realize your dreams” – Adriana Ocampo.

7. Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?

The best place I’ve traveled to is Russia because it was beautiful and nice to feel more in touch with my culture.

8. You’re happiest when?

I’m happiest when I’m spending time with my friends or traveling somewhere new!

9. How do you define success?

I would define success as doing something you’re excited to work on each new day and find fulfillment from.

10. If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

I would love to explore fashion or criminal justice!

11. What did you want to be when growing up?

When I was younger, I wanted to be a teacher, and I had my sister attend my math “classes” and even do homework.

12. What is on your bucket list?

Going to Egypt and Japan and getting a puppy!

13.What is your favorite movie, tv and book?

Two of my favorite tv shows are Criminal Minds and Feel Good, and my all-time favorite book is The Maze Runner.

14.What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?

I love getting coffee or boba tea, watching Netflix, drawing and painting.

15.What makes you the most excited about being a part of the Pink Crown Creative team?

I’m excited to be a part of the Pink Crown Creative team to have a creative space, explore new areas like web design and project management and work with Lindsay and the other interns! :)
