I am beyond emotional to have received an email this morning from Women of Influence saying that I have been nominated for the 28th annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards.
I can’t say I feel particularly worthy of this nomination at this moment in time as I have been struggling everyday to keep it together be the kind of entrepreneur that I know I need to be for my clients, partners and followers.
I have known many entrepreneurs who have been nominated and won in the past (whether they are friends, clients or women I simply admire), and I truly am shocked to even be listed in this category.
Two and a half years ago, when I decided to become a full-time entrepreneur and launched Pink Crown Creative, I could have never imagined where it would have brought me to where I am today.
As I look back, I do feel extremely lucky to have worked, partnered, and supported some incredibly talented entrepreneurs who make me love the path I chose for myself everyday.
To whoever took the time to nominate me and think of me as a Women of Influence, I truly am so grateful and humbled by this small gesture. I have always had a major goal to influence and inspire other women to be successful in their careers and live a life they deserve. With this nomination, I hope to continue to inspire and motivate you to follow your dreams and never settle for anything but what you truly deserve.
