On Tuesday August 6 from 6 PM to 9 PM, they will be hosting their 'Business Showers' event, an exclusive networking event to celebrate the launch of new women-owned businesses in Vancouver.

Lindsay Dent
Lindsay has been in the sales and marketing industry for almost 15 years. Hailing from Brampton, ON, Lindsay made the move to the west coast 6 years ago to grow her career within the marketing industry and follow her travel bug heart to her new home of Vancouver, BC. Quickly fast tracking her way into a Marketing Manager role and spending the last 7 years leading her teams in the IT and Hospitality industries.
Lindsay found her true calling in September 2017 when she decided to make the bold move and quit the cushy corporate world to pursue her dreams and passions of owning her own business and being her own boss. The idea of Pink Crown Creative was born as she saw a gap in the industry and constantly got approached for marketing and social media advice from her peers and community who were seeking help and guidance. Using primarily social media marketing to grow her business, she wanted to find a way to inspire and influence entrepreneurs and small business owners to launch, market and grow their businesses using the same tools, while feeling really confident about being an entrepreneur and following their passions.
Lindsay is also a part of local women’s magazine and media movement, I Like Her Style Vancouver, as the Marketing and Events Manager where she creates interactive events and inspirational experiences to celebrate and inspire dynamic women of the Lower Mainland.
In her free time, she enjoys travelling, paddleboarding, hiking, watching murder mysteries with her husband and being a film and TV extra on the side. After almost two years in business, Lindsay is thrilled to continue her entrepreneurial journey by partnering with local companies who support and encourage small business owners and entrepreneurs by providing them with the right support, tools and encouragement to build the careers and the lives of their dreams.
Simrit Parmar
Simrit Parmar is the founder of Plan it Perfect, a decorating and party coordination business which has grown exponentially since its creation in May 2019. Whenever she has free time, apart from working towards her English Major, Simrit is out and about looking for insipration for the newest styles and new clientel. Simrit's goal in this industry is to diversify her portfolio by reaching out to different demographics in an attempt to learn about new cultures. Simrit’s key peice of advice to new business owners and entreprenuers is that when starting out, experience and growth outvalues profits. Researching more about your passions and learning about your desired industry norms, niches and trends all work towards your understanding of what you have to offer from both a business and personal aspect. Knowledge is Power!!
Britt is an influencer who uses her lifestyle curating brand to specialize in brand ambassador activations, sponsorships, social media and public relations. Her social media content consists of creating and experiencing some of the best events all over North America. She is compared to Shabar Ewing as the “go-to” for Vancouver. Her followers come to her for authenticity, vulnerability and thought-provoking content. Britt is a connector who loves to meet people and introduce them to the best parts of her city. She has worked in the nightlife industry for almost two decades, being one of the first female VIP hosts in Vancouver. She’s been hosting celebrities for years, among others, with her industry connections if they roll through Vancouver. She connects them with whatever they need and is known as a social powerhouse.
